HDMI Extender: Long-Range Audio Distribution
The HDMI Extender is a specialized audio solution designed to transmit HDMI ARC or S/PDIF signals over long distances using a single CAT cable. It can extend high-quality audio up to 150m (492ft) at a 96kHz sample rate, or up to 90m (295ft) for 192kHz ARC signals. This system provides a reliable plug-and-play method for sending audio from an HDTV back to remote amplifiers, AVRs, or multi-room audio systems.
HDMI Extender: Versatile Dual-Mode Functionality
A key feature of this HDMI Extender is its ability to handle different audio standards through a dedicated selector switch. In "ARC" mode, the device supports CEC pass-through, facilitating the necessary handshake between the TV and audio equipment for seamless transmission. For televisions that do not support ARC, the extender offers an independent S/PDIF pass-through channel, allowing digital optical audio to be sent from the transmitter’s input to the receiver’s output.
